JOSH EPP is a transplant of Bensalem, Pennsylvania. He started his training at the age of 15 years old at Release Dance Academy. He found himself falling in love with the art form after his first year. Josh went to further his education at the University Of The Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Jazz Dance Education major with a minor in Creative Writing, where he rigorously studied all facets of dance including Ballet, Modern (Graham, Horton, Limon and Paul Taylor), Jazz, Fosse, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap and Vocal/Acting lessons. He studied under several faculty members including Roni Koresh, Molly Misgalla, Wayne St. David, Manfred Fischbeck, Andrew Pap, Scott Jovovich, Jennifer Johnson, Dinita Clark, Crystal Frazier and Rochelle Haynes. After graduation Josh continues to audition in N.Y.C. and attend workshop classes throughout the Tri-State area. He has been educating students for over 10 years. Josh works for several studios including Dance With Celeste, Concord Dance Center, Main Line Dance Center, Industry Of Dance Arts, Broadway Bound Dance Center, Dance Arts Collaborative and Dance Strong Dance Academy. He guest choreographs and teaches throughout the PA, NJ, NY, CT and DE area. He often sets choreography for high school theatre programs, fall festivals and performing arts high schools. Josh is currently on the judging panel for Starquest, Precision Dance Arts, Edge Performing Arts, Take Center Stage and That’s Entertainment. While teaching, he is planning on pursuing his Masters degree in Choreography, Dance Therapy and Exercise Science. When not being engulfed in the art form, Josh hangs low with his four cats at home while watching horror movies or playing video games. He also plays the Pokemon Trading Card Game competitively and has placed in several regional tournaments.
